05/28/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Columbus, GA Abby is a 2022 2B with a great work ethic! At 2B, she fields the ball out in front well, and has quick hands. She also makes accurate throws and gets over the top of the ball well. Something for Abby to work on is quicker footwork and having better range. If she can work on taking a better first step to the ball, she will field the ball more consistently. Hitting wise, Abby makes solid contact, and is a spray type of hitter and hits to all fields. If she can work on driving her lower half more, and working on quicker bat speed, she will be even stronger at the plate. Also if she works on better extension, she will drive the ball harder. Overall, Abby is very coachable, and someone our staff would love to work with in the future!
