11/11/2016 - College PREP - Hemet, CA Alanna is a 2019 two-way player as a 3B/OF. In the box Alanna is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She does a nice job of putting the ball in play and shows line drive power. Seeing the ball deeper into the hitting zone will allow Alanna to hit to all fields and see an increase in consistency. At 3B Alanna has efficient footwork and has a quick first step. She presents her glove on tome and fields with soft/sure hands. Adding a pre pitch to her approach will allow Alanna to play through the ball more. In the OF Alanna tracks the ball well and uses an efficient drop step. She works to play through the ball and gain momentum to her target. Catching the ball at the highest point will allow Alanna to make a smooth transfer and use the proper arm slot. Overall Alanna is an athletic player and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the collegiate level.
