She handles the routine play and works to get the ball in quickly. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Playing through the ball will allow her to generate momentum to her target. In the box, Alexandria shows good pitch selection. She is able to work the count and consistently puts the ball in play. Working to take a direct path to the ball will allow her to see an increase in her line drive production. Overall, Alexandria is a coachable player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
01/12/2018 - College PREP - Orlando, FL Alexandria is a 2019 right handed short stop and outfielder with a developing skill set. In the infield, Alexandria has soft hands and good forehand footwork. She displays strength behind her throw and creates an on line throw to her target. She has good feeds on her flips on double plays and creates momentum on her release. In the outfield, she is agile in her range. She reads the ball well off of the bat and takes good angles in the gaps. She positions herself properly to get behind the ball well to come through her with solid momentum through her throw. By focusing on tucking her glove when running back on the ball she will start to create more range getting to further balls. Overall, Alexandria is very coachable and has a great attitude. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to get her game to the next level.
