Defensively, she fields with sure hands, makes quick, accurate throws with life on her throw, and moves well to various balls. Working on a more athletic fielding position will help her to improve fielding efficiency. Overall, Alexis is an aggressive infielder and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses a square set up with an upward load, a short stride and keeps her balance centered before launching to the ball making hard, consistent contact. She shows good power and will benefit from letting the ball travel deeper into the zone to improve power on point of contact, ultimately, allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Alexis has a good frame for the position at 5'8 and has solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
