01/26/2013 - College PREP - Jackson, MS Ali is an athletic 3B with skill set in its developmental stage. Defensively, she has soft hands, active feet and is an accurate thrower. Aggressive at times, she will benefit from improving her arm slot, hand position on ball and footwork to throw with keeping things simple remaining the focus. At the plate, Ali uses a square set up with a downward load, short stride and keeps her weight centered before launching her short swing to the ball. An aggressive hitter with good barrel accuracy, she has a tendency to bail at times and needs to keep her front shoulder on the ball and stride to a closed front foot to maximize her quality of contact and offensive production. Overall, Ali has the ability to develop her skills over the next three and half years to ensure she is ready to play at the next level when she gets her shot.
