05/30/2013 - College World Series Select Training Allie continues to develop athletically. Her potential and natural strength set her apart from her peers. As a 3B, she has confident glovework and agile range as she made great plays. Continuing to focus on fluid footwork and double play feeds will increase efficiency. As a C, Allie possesses great presence and basic fundamentals. Continuing to focus on fluid footwork, receiving/blocking skills, vocal command of the field, and quick transfers will increase efficiency and position awareness. As a hitter, her explosive lower half and natural abilities produce hard contact. Continuing to focus on tracking skills and patience at the plate will increase power and efficiency. Implementing a strength and conditioning program will increase agility, athleticism, and endurance. With continued application of recommendations, Allie will be on track for collegiate attention.
01/26/2013 - College PREP - Jackson, MS Allie is a solid C with an advanced defensive skill set. Behind the plate, Allie has soft, sure hands, active feet and a strong arm with a quick release that produces accurate results. She has a good presence behind the plate and will benefit from gaining a little ground to throw, covering 5 hole to block and sinking her hips to the earth to have a lower more effective blocking position. She has a live arm, gets around bunts well and has a consistent, clean exchange. At the plate, Allie uses a square set up with a back load, short stride and keeps her weight centered before launching her aggressive swing to the ball. She uses the opposite field very well and should focus on quieting her hands and operating on the balls of her feet to keep her from falling out at contact. She displays tempo throughout her swing and shows pop to all fields because of ability to hit the ball where it's pitched. Overall, Allie is a solid player who is on track to receive collegiate attention and should continue to work hard to ensure she is ready.
