As a C, she understands the purpose of framing, quick footwork from side to side, and has pop out of the box when fielding bunts. Focusing on an athletic set up and lower body strength will increase efficiency. As a hitter, she has a good attitude at the plate, makes adjustments, tracks well, and makes contact. Focusing on a stride and load, timing, driving the hands through the zone, utilizing the lower half, and strong wrists will increase power and efficiency. With implementation of the above recommendations, Allison will be on track for collegiate attention.
