08/16/2015 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Alliyah is a 2017 RHP with a developing skill set. On the mound Alliyah has a good presence and shows good focus. She uses a 3-pitch package and works hard to generate ground ball outs for her team. She is able to control her pitches in the zone and works ahead in the count. Keeping her arm circle close to her body and creating strong leg drive will allow Alliyah to see an increase in her velocity and will also allow her to work on her snaps/spins. In the box Alliyah is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance. She has an aggressive approach in the box and hops on pitches in her zone early. She shows good hand/eye coordination and works hard to put the ball in play for her team. Adding a stride to her swing will allow Alliyah to engage her lower half and hips in her swing. Overall Alliyah is a coachable player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will be able to take her game to the next level.
