She has quick footwork and agile range when moving from side to side and fielding the bunt. Allyson does a good job of getting around the ball when blocking the ball. By working on receiving the ball with softer hands, Allyson will have a better athletic feel behind the plate. Offensively, Allyson uses a square setup and short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She is an aggressive hitter that maintains centered balance when driving through contact. Allyson has a short swing path and consistently hits the ball hard. She has a good finish and keeps her head down on the ball. By incorporating the use of her legs, Allyson will increase her power numbers. Overall, Allyson is an athletic player that will continue to grow and develop.
