02/10/2019 - College PREP - Monticello, IA Alyse is a 2021 right handed shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and range to both sides. She is athletic in her fielding position and stays low through each play. She has soft hands and a quick exchange on her throws to her target. She is short to the ball and accurate in her arm on her throws. Offensively, she has a tall and open set up in the box with a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays center in her balance. She has fast hands through the zone and squares the ball up consistently. Overall, Alyse hustles hard and has great work ethic. If she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
