Defensively, she has an accurate arm with carry on the ball, hustles, and good transitions when fielding. Working on aggressively attacking groundballs will help her to improve fielding efficiency. Overall, Alyson has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses a square set up with a back load and keeps her balance centered before launching to the ball with a level swing. She produces hard, consistent contact and will benefit from driving the hands through the zone to improve power on contact, ultimately, allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Alyson has a good frame for the position at 5'5 and has solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
