07/08/2017 - Advanced Training and Competition at the World Cup Alyssa returns to Softball Factory to help take her game to the next level. In the box, Alyssa is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance and short stride. She creates good rhythm with her hands and works the pull side. Creating a consistent stride and load will allow her to generate momentum to the ball and accelerate through contact. At 3B, Alyssa handles the routine play and shows good range to her glove side. She has a short arm action and makes accurate throws to her target. Adding a pre-pitch to her approach will allow her to play through the ball and cut down the distance to her target. Overall, Alyssa is a hard working player and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
