06/17/2013 - College PREP - Ashland, OH Alyx is a developing athlete. As a C, she has an accurate arm, confident glovework, and provides a good target. Focusing on arm strength, an athletic stance, quicker feet when blocking, stronger wrists, and keeping the receiving hand away from the glove will increase fielding success and efficiency. As a SS, she makes consistent throws and fields in the middle of the body. Focusing on an athletic pre-pitch position, fluid footwork, and angles to groundballs will increase efficiency and overall fielding success. As a slapper/hitter, she makes contact. Focusing on timing and a balanced set up will increase power and consistency. With implementation of the above recommendations, Alyx will be on track for seeking collegiate attention.
