She creates smooth rhythm and generates fast bat speed. She squares up on contact and engages here lower half, allowing her to be a gap hitter. Working to extend through contact on time will allow her to see a continued increase in power production. At 2B, Amanda has active footwork and moves well laterally. She fields with soft hands, makes a clean transfer and gets in line with her target. She makes accurate throws and provides good double play feeds. Adding a long toss program to her workouts will allow her to see an increase in her arm strength. Overall, Amanda is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the next level.
