08/26/2018 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Amanda is a 2020 right handed shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and a solid pre pitch motion. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and stays short to the ball. She creates good momentum through the ball on each play and shows strength in her release. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She has power potential if she works on driving through her lower half more in her swing. Once she starts to use her legs more consistently she will get maximum power behind her contact and drive the ball all over the field. Overall, Amanda has great work ethic and is very coachable. If she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
