11/23/2014 - College PREP - Houston, TX Amanda is a 2018 RHP/1B with a developing skill set. On the mound, Amanda is athletic with great presence. She uses a myriad of pitches to challenge hitters. Amanda displays on time separation and can hit her spots consistently. Her screwball is her best with great movement on her drop. Amanda needs to use her legs more to generate more power in her pitches. At the 1B position, Amanda gives maximum effort to make plays for her teammates. She is very strong gloveside, but needs to continue to work on her backhand motion. Offensively, Amanda has lots of potential. She makes hard consistent contact and uses the entire field. Adding a stride and load to her swing will help Amanda develop better timing and increase power production. Overall, Amanda is a hard worker who is extremely coachable. With continued work on her fundamentals she will continue to see improvements in her game.
