07/19/2013 - Factory Development Institute National Select Program Amanda continues to be a developing athlete. Her work ethic, positive attitude, and potential set a tone on the field. As a RHP, she has a basic fundamental skill set that allows for her to be successful. Continuing to focus on fundamentals such as arm action, control, delivery, leg drive, body awareness, and fine-tuning mechanics will increase accuracy, velocity, and movement. As a hitter, she has an athletically balanced set up and hits well for her size producing hard contact. Focusing on a short, quick bat extension to the ball and an explosive lower half will increase power and efficiency. Implementing a strength and conditioning program will increase speed, agility, power, body awareness, and coordination. As Amanda continues to develop and mature through application and experience, she will be on track for seeking collegiate attention.
