11/14/2018 - Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 16U Amelia is a 2022 1B with a strong skill set. In the box, Amelia is a LHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She loads her hands, creates fluid rhythm and generates explosive bat speed. She makes hard, consistent contact and is a gap hitter. During game play, she is able to work the count and consistently put the ball in play. Behind the plate, Amelia has an athletic set up. She presents a good target, looks the ball in and receives with sure hands. She makes a clean exchange, gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Working to follow through on her throws will allow her to see more carry on the ball. Overall, Amelia is an athletic player with the work ethic and tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
02/24/2018 - Mid Atlantic Regional Softball Accelerated Hitting Weekend (Ages 13-18) Amelia is a strong athlete with so much power. She has an athletic stance with a short, soft stride to contact. Amelia loads well and stays fluid with her timing to contact. She stays balanced throughout her swing and has explosive bat speed. Amelia makes hard contact consistently and has HR power. She is an athlete that will always strive to be her best and get better every chance she gets. Amelia was so respectful and very appreciative all weekend at camp. She will continue to get better and play at a high level.
