12/27/2012 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament - Texas Angie is a strong athlete. As a RHP, she has a variety of pitches that she relies on. Consistent rhythm, proper weight transfer and appropriate strides will increase her arm precision, control and delivery. As the event progressed, Angie showed signs of progression in terms of transferring her knowledge into game application and showed her strength in the circle. In the infield, Angie demonstrated an athletic pre-pitch, soft hands, range to her backhand and consistency with various ground balls. Continued focus on an aggressive approach, fluid footwork and communication with fellow teammates will enhance her developing skill set. In the box, Angie is an aggressive hitter with an athletic set-up, smooth stride and load, balanced swing, decent eye/hand coordination and hard contact. Focus on an explosive lower half and quick bat speed through the zone will increase her consistency and effectiveness at the plate. Implementation of a weight training/conditioning program will enhance Angie's natural strength, increase her athleticism, prevent injuries and lessen the time for recovery. As a whole, Angie is a hard working player with a desire to play at the next level. She is on track to being a key component for a collegiate program.
