Defensively, she fields with fluid footwork, receives the ball out front, and moves well laterally while communicating on the field. Working on aggressively attacking each ball will help to improve efficiency. Overall, Ann has a natural athleticism and confident approach to playing defense. As a hitter, her natural competitive presence sets a tone offensively as she produces contact to the opposite field. She shows good power and will benefit from implementing a stride and load and staying inside the ball to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Ann has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
