09/08/2013 - College PREP - Philadelphia, PA Anna Marie is a developing 3B whom plays with a lot of passion. She fields with soft, sure hands, keeps her feet active and is comfortable going side to side. She made all the plays, is an accurate thrower and will benefit from keeping a wider base to field and smoothing out her arm stroke to improve carry and flight. At the plate, Anna Marie uses a square set up with a slight load, no stride and keeps her weight back before launching her hands through the zone. She keeps her head on the ball well, has some feel for the bunt game and should continue to work on keeping her back side tall, improving timing and striking the inside part of the ball to shorten swing path. Overall, Anna Marie needs to keep up the hard work to ensure the progression of her skill set continues, allowing her to realize her full potential.
