She has soft/sure hands while receiving the ball combined with sound fundamentals. Taking shorter and quicker steps to get to a bunt will improve her bunt coverage. Overall, Ansley looks very athletic and comfortable behind the plate. Offensively, Ansley has a square setup with a slight backwards load. She has a long stride and maintains center balance. She takes a level path to the ball while making hard contact. With the quickness in her bat speed, improving on her consistency will enhance her overall batting ability. Overall, Ansley has athletic ability combined with good instincts that will help her continue to develop into a very talented player.
