02/10/2019 - College PREP - Monticello, IA Aricka is a 2021 right handed second baseman with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to both sides. She stays low and athletic through the ball and has soft hands receiving the ball. She is clean in her exchange to her target and short in her action to the ball. She keeps her throws on line and creates solid momentum through each play. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and stays center in her balance. She makes hard contact and consistently squares up the ball. Overall, Aricka has a great attitude and work ethic.
