12/17/2021 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Ashley is a 2025 graduate who catches. She has a very strong arm and an overhand velocity of 62MPH. Ashley has an athletic and solid build. With the stick she has power potential with an exit velocity of 66MPH. Ashley earned the Golden Glove award at this event for her consistent work ethic and minimal error performance behind the plate. She frames very well and has quiet movement behind the dish. Ashley is versatile and can play many positions on the field. Improving her extension and lower half when swinging as well as not throwing side arm will help Ashley take her game to the next level. Overall, she has the skill set and tools to continue improving her game on the diamond.
06/21/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Waleska (Atlanta), GA Ashley is a 2025 right handed catcher and third baseman with a strong skill set. Behind the plate, she has active feet and gets over top of the ball well on her blocks. She has a good follow through on her throws to bases and keeps her throws on line. At third base, she is fluid in her footwork and displays range to her glove side. She has soft hands when receiving the ball and a clean exchange on her throws across the diamond. Offensively, Ashley has an open set up in the box and displays solid strength in her contact. Overall, Ashley is very coachable and has a great attitude.
