09/15/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Henrico (Richmond), VA Ashlyn is a 2023 right handed catcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she has active feet and gets over top of the ball on her blocks. She keeps the ball in front and stays short in her action to the ball. She pops out quickly on bunt coverage and makes strong throws to bases. At first base, she has range to her glove side and a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She is aggressive and has solid momentum through each play. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She shows good pop to her pull side and makes hard contact consistently. Overall, Ashlyn has great work ethic and is very coachable.
