05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2023-2025) Ashlyn is a 2024 right handed third baseman and outfielder with a developing skill set. In the infield, she keeps the ball in front and shows carry on her throws to first base. She makes accurate throws and stays square with the ball in her pre pitch. In the outfield, she is fluid in her action to the ball and gives solid effort each play. She gets a good read right off the bat and works well behind the ball to create momentum through each play into her throw. She has an accurate arm on her throws to her cut off and is always ready for the next play. Offensively, she has a square and athletic set up in the box with an on time stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and has good hand eye coordination. Overall, Ashlyn is very coachable and adjusts well from pitch to pitch.
03/18/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Little Rock, AR Ashlyn is a 2024 right handed third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and a good pre pitch. She stays short in her action to the ball and creates good momentum through each play. She has backspin on her release and moves well laterally on her backhand side. She makes solid throws to her target. Offensively, she has a square set up in the bo and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well and stays center in her balance. She shows power up the middle and consistently squares up the ball. Overall, Ashlyn has a great attitude and has solid work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
