01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Ava Smith is a 2025 RHP with a developed skill set. In the circle, Ava has a good presence and controlled movements. She is able to throw strikes consistently and keeps a fluid motion through to her release. Offensively, Ava has a crouched setup and quiet pre-pitch movements. She loads into her lower half well and has good timing into the ball. She sees the ball out of the pitchers hand well and has the ability to hit to all fields. Overall, Ava is an athlete who is coachable, has a good attitude and is a team player.
