Behind the plate, she is a sure handed defender with quick active feet and a smooth transition from catch to throw. She has a quick release, a throwing arm that produces strong accurate throws and will benefit from being quicker to block with body control and clearing hips to throw by following throws aggressively with her feet. At the plate, Bailey uses a tall set up with a downward load, a short stride and keeps her weight centered before launching her level swing to the ball. She can hit the ball to all fields, possesses quick bat speed and displays steady balance throughout her entire swing. She has an above average bunt game which she uses to apply pressure to opposing defenses and above average instincts on both sides of the ball. Overall, Bailey has a lot of potential and should continue to seek quality instruction and reps to ensure her development continues in a timely manner.
