10/28/2018 - College PREP - Raleigh, NC Brentley is a 2022 C with a balance skill set. In the box, Brentley is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She creates fluid rhythm, generates fast bat speed and makes consistent contact. She is a spray hitter with line drive power. Working to extend through contact will allow her to see more gap production. Behind the plate, Brentley uses a low and square stance. She presents a good target, looks the ball in and frames with a firm wrist. She reads the ball in the dirt and has good body positioning when blocking. Working to make a quicker transfer and gaining ground to her target will allow Brentley to see more accuracy with her throws. Overall, Brentley is a coachable player and with continued hard work she will be able to take her game to the next level.
