01/13/2017 - 2017 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Briana returns to Softball Factory to show she is serious about taking her game to the next level. She is a coachable player that has the work ethic and athleticism needed to make game time and long term adjustments. On the mound Briana has a great presence and works through tough situations. She trusts her pitches and is not afraid to challenge batters. Continuing to develop her spins and building on her arsenal will make her a great prospect for the collegiate level. In the box, Briana consistently puts the ball in play with line drive power. Once on base, she is aggressive and ready to take advantage of the defense. With runners on, she is able to produce and drive in runs.
11/30/2016 - Under Armour Softball Factory Holiday Classic - 16U Briana is a 2021 RHP/OF. In the circle, Briana uses a fastball, change up, screwball combination to attack hitters. Throwing consistently between 57-59 mph, Briana has good arm action and control. She has the ability to locate her fastball on both sides of the plate and command the off speed. Her screwball has tight spin and late break on the hitter's hands. She has sound mechanics with the potential to develop more pitches as she gets older. Offensively, Briana has a tall setup in the box. She is consistently on time with the pitch and shows the ability to hit the ball to all fields. By working to add a load and stride to her swing, Briana will only see an increase in her power numbers. Overall, Briana is a young athlete with good fundamental skills and the desire to further develop her talents.
