03/25/2018 - College PREP - Middletown (Hartford), CT Brianna is a 2020 C with a developing skill set. In the box, Brianna is a RHH that uses a square stance with a soft stride and centered balance. She creates smooth rhythm with a back load. She makes square contact and is a spray hitter. Working to whip her bat head through the zone will allow her to increase her bat speed and see an increase in her gap production. Behind the plate, Brianna’s set up is low and athletic. She presents a good target and looks the ball into her glove. She receives the ball with sure hands, makes a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to her target. Adding a long toss program to her workouts will allow her to develop more arm strength and see a decrease in her pop time. Overall, Brianna is a hard-working player that will see success with continued coaching. We look forward to seeing what the future holds.
