11/20/2019 - Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 16U Brianna Ford is a 2022 RHP and outfielder with a strong skill set. In the outfield, she fields from a relaxed and athletic position. She is on-time in her pre-pitch approach and fields the ball out in front of her eyes. She has a clean exchange and throws accurately to her targets. Offensively, Brianna has an athletic and open setup and controlled stride to the ball. She activates her lower half well and shows an overall smooth rhythm throughout her swing. She has good barrel control and has the ability to keep her hands inside the ball to hit to the opposite field for power. She sees the ball well out of the pitchers hand and has good pitch selection. Overall, Brianna is an athlete who is coachable, hustles everywhere, is a great teammate, and has the willingness to better herself in all areas.
09/08/2019 - College PREP - Ellicott City (Baltimore), MD Brianna is a 2022 right handed pitcher and outfielder with a strong skill set. In the circle, she has a calm demeanor and keeps an open hip direction in her mechanics. She drives off of the mound well in her lower half to produce solid velocity behind her pitches. She is fluid in her arm motion and controlled in her finish. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and is agile in her range to the ball. She stays square in her fielding position and clean in her exchange. She makes accurate throws to her target and has solid momentum through each play. Offensively, she has a square and athletic set up with a soft stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and squares up the ball consistently to all parts of the field. Overall, Brianna hustles hard and is very coachable.
