06/23/2016 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Brinson is a 2020 1B/RHP with raw power. At the plate, Brinson is a RHH with a strong base. Her balance is centered with good rhythm and good use of her load/weight transfer. Brinson is direct to the ball and does an excellent job of staying inside the ball. She will see an increase in power production by staying in her legs and keeping tension in her lower half. At 1B, Brinson has quick/ efficient footwork, a strong back-hand, and accurate feeds on double plays. She will benefit from participating in a speed and agility program to improve quickness. On the mound, Brinson has a strong presence. She uses a five pitch package to challenge hitters with her fastball being her best. She stays tall and has good movement on her pitches. Brinson will benefit from using a longer stride off of the mound. Overall, Brinson is a talented player with lots of potential. With continued practice and quality coaching, she will see improvement in her game.
