Defensively, she has a quick, accurate arm with carry on her throw, good double play feeds and good bag awareness. Working on remaining in an athletic fielding position, softer hands and staying down and through ground balls will help to improve range and efficiency. Overall, Brittany has a confident approach to playing defense. As a hitter, she relies on a short, square stride along with good rhythm and keeps her balance centered before aggressively producing hard contact. She shows natural power to the pull side and will benefit from implementing a consistent stride and load and letting the ball travel deeper into the zone to improve timing and power, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Brittany has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
