01/26/2013 - College PREP - Jackson, MS Brittany is a solid young 3B with an advanced skill set on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she has soft, sure hands, a natural presence and displays fluid footwork. She is active in her pre pitch; fields clean and is very strong to her back hand side. Playing lower at the hips and staying on line will help advance her development and improve her defensive abilities. At the plate, Brittany uses an open set up with a back load, short stride, centered balance with rhythm and a short path to the ball. An aggressive hitter, Brittany generates quick bat speed with solid barrel accuracy which results in a lot of raw power. Overall, Brittany has a very bright future as a softball player if she continues to work hard and remains committed to getting better all the time.
