Defensively, Caitlin has active footwork and displays good range in all directions. She takes good angles to the ball and has a strong arm. Caitlin is a vocal leader on the field and displays great field/game awareness. She has a clean exchange to throw and works well with her momentum. Caitlin has good carry on her ball and makes accurate, on-line throws to her target. Offensively, Caitlin is square in her stance and takes a short, soft stride to contact. She loads well in her legs and has a smooth swing. Caitlin stays balanced throughout her swing and makes hard, solid contact. She stays connected well with her hips/hands and has fast hands to contact. Caitlin has pop to the pull side and shows consistency at the plate. Overall, Caitlin will continue to learn and grow into a great collegiate athlete.
