05/17/2014 - College PREP - New Orleans, LA Caitlyn is a talented 3B with a well balanced skill set. Defensively, she has an accurate arm with carry on her throw and makes efficient transfers. Working on an athletic fielding position, staying down and through the ball and more fluid footwork will help to improve range and efficiency. Overall, Caitlyn has a confident approach to playing defense. As a hitter, she has a good load and weight transfer and keeps her balance centered before producing hard contact. She shows natural strength with good pop and will benefit from implementing a consistent stride and load and bat extension on inside pitches. Overall, Caitlyn has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
