01/12/2018 - 2018 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Caitlyn is a 2024 shortstop with a strong skill set. Defensively, Caitlyn has fluid footwork and agile range. She is athletic in her fielding position and presents her glove well out in front. Caitlyn is vocal on the field with her teammates and plays through the ball. She works smoothly to her glove side and has a clean exchange to throw. Caitlyn works great with her momentum, and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Caitlyn has great pitch selection and an aggressive mindset. She has an explosive lower half and explosive bat speed. Caitlyn has pop to the pull side. Overall, Caitlyn is a young athlete that will continue to stay dedicated to improving each part of her game.
