07/12/2018 - Advanced Training and Competition at the International Cup (Grad Years 2018-2022) Callie retunes to Softball Factory for her 2nd player development event. It was clear to the coaching staff that Callie has been working hard since her last outing. In the box, Callie showed good pitch selection and was aggressive when pitches were in her zone. She has a middle of the field approach and shows line drive power. At 2B, Callie is a hard-working player. She handles the routine play and has good field awareness. Fielding the ball more out in front will allow her to play through more. Overall, Callie is a coachable player that continues to improve her game.
06/18/2018 - Softball Factory World Series (Grad Year 2018-2022) Callie returns to Softball Factory for the Softball Factory World Series. During game play, Callie proved to be a hard-working player. She is vocal on the field and shows good field awareness. She provides good flips on the double play. Playing through the ball more will allow her to cut down the distance to her target. In the box, Callie has a good presence. She battles each at bat and works to put the ball in play. Working to see the ball deeper in the zone will allow her to see more line drive production. Overall, Callie has a passion for the game and will continue to improve her skill set.
05/20/2018 - College PREP - Tacoma (Seattle), WA Callie is a 2022 right handed second baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and stays square in her fielding position. She anticipates the ball well and males routine ground balls. She keeps her throws on line to her target and takes good angles to the ball. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and a square stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and uses her lower half in her swing well. She makes hard contact and shows power in the gaps. Overall, Callie is very coachable and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
