02/16/2013 - Complete Softball Player Experience - Commuter Caroline is a very young, athletic C from the 2018 class. Defensively, she has soft, sure hands, strong wrists and improved her footwork to throw. She has some natural instincts behind the plate, makes adjustments quickly and gives a good strong target pre pitch. At the plate, she uses a square set up with no load, a short stride, centered balance and has a short path to the ball. An aggressive hitter, she generates explosive bat speed through the zone, has some strike zone discipline and shows good barrel accuracy. Overall, Caroline has a ton of potential and needs to continue to seek quality coaching/reps to ensure she is properly being pushed.
