At the plate is where she shows best, displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (60 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She makes consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. At 1B, she displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. Feet are aggressive and attacks balls, playing through with her body. Throws are accurate with accuracy and carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Carson has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
