01/13/2017 - 2017 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Casey is a 2017 RHP who will be an impact player at the collegiate level. On the mound Casey shows good composure and is able to work one pitch at a time. She does a nice job of getting ahead in the count and trusts each of her pitches as a strike out pitch. She throws consistently in the 58mph to 61mph range and is able to keep hitters off balance with a 42mph change up, which she trusts to throw at any time. In the box Casey is a RHH that uses an open stance with a short stride and smooth load. She creates fluid rhythm, generates explosive bat speed and takes a direct route to the ball. She makes hard/consistent contact and is able to hit to all fields. During game play she is aggressive in the box and is able to produce with players in scoring position. Overall Casey is an athletic player with a gamer mentality and will be a player to watch at the collegiate level.
