07/31/2019 - Softball Factory World Series - Futures Casey returns to another Softball Factory event displaying her improvements and impressing with her positive attitude every time she steps on the field. Defensively, she fields the ball out in front and has active feet. She moves well laterally and has a clean exchange on her throws across the diamond. She is strong in her base and keeps the ball in the infield. She has a solid stride receiving the ball at first base and is engaged at all times. In the circle, she extends through well on her release but needs to work on her leg drive off of the mound. If she focuses on engaging her lower half more through her pitches, she will create more velocity behind each pitch. Offensively, she is relaxed in the box and loose in her hands. She sees the ball well to her barrel and makes hard contact to her pull side. Overall, Casey shows improvements and will only continue to improve with her work ethic.
