02/16/2019 - Mid Atlantic Regional Softball Hitting Weekend It was great to see Casey again! In the box, she sets up with an athletic stands and holds her hands high and comfortable. Her rhythm is controlled and she uses a simple load with a square stride to start her swing. She uses her hips and hands together with a smooth swing and firm front side at contact. She hits hard line drives. With even more back hip drive and extension through contact she will increase her power and consistency. Overall, Casey has good potential. She works hard and makes adjustments and will continue to improve.
12/28/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Casey is a 2025 two-way player as 3B/OF. In the box, Casey is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance. She loads her hands and creates smooth rhythm. She has a simple approach with quick hands. Casey makes consistent contact and shows line drive power. Working to extend through contact will allow her to see more gap power. At 3B, Casey handles the routine play. She has an aggressive approach, presents her glove on time and makes a quick exchange. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Working to be lighter on her feet will allow her to be quicker to the ball. In the OF, Casey works hard each play.
