She creates smooth rhythm with a back load and short stride. She generates fast bat speed and makes hard, consistent contact. She is a consistent line drive hitter that shows gap to gap power. Behind the plate, Charley has a great presence. She presents a good target, is quiet with her glove and frames the zone well. She makes a clean transfer and makes accurate throws with carry. She reads the ball in the dirt and is quick to the block. In the OF, Charley shows good footwork and field awareness. She is aggressive in her ground ball approach and gets the ball in quickly. Playing through the ball will allow her to generate more momentum to her target. Overall, Charley has the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
