At the plate is where she shows best, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with excellent power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick (72 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel and stays inside the ball with gap to gap pop. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (61 mph velocity) across the field. With 3 years to further develop, Charlotte has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with her softball abilities.
