01/12/2018 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Chloe is a 2020 catcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, she throws from her knees and is agile in her range. She stays athletic in her fielding position and has firm hands when receiving the ball. She blocks well and gets over top of the ball. She has a clean exchange and creates backspin on her release. She has carry on her ball and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Chloe stays tall in her set up and loads back well with her legs. She attacks the ball and keeps her hips and hands in sync with one another. She has a fast bat and direction swing path to the ball. She displays gap to gap power and concisely squares up the ball. Overall, Chloe has a learners attitude and is a team player. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to get her game to the next level.
