She has an aggressive approach and shows line drive power. Creating a weight transfer in her swing will allow her to create more rhythm. Behind the plate, Cianna has a confident presence. She presents a good target for her pitcher and looks the ball in. She knows the zone well and is able to stick pitches. She reads the bunt quickly and does a nice job getting around the ball. She gains ground to her target and makes accurate throws. Working to stay low and loose in her stance will allow her to be quick to block the ball. At 1B, Cianna has good field and bag awareness. She handles the routine play well as she fields with sure hands. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Presenting her glove sooner with a pre pitch approach will allow her to field more out in front and play through the ball. Overall, Cianna is a hard working player that will continue to improve her game.
