10/20/2018 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Softball Hitting Weekend (Grad Years 2019-2023) Clare is a 2021 right handed hitter. She has shown tremendous growth since she last attended a Softball Factory event. She has a square, athletic stance and loads well on her back side. She works well with her hands to create a direct path to the ball, which generates pop up the middle. Clare is a very fluid hitter and maintains balance through her swing. She is a hard worker and is highly coachable. Her ability to process information and make adjustments is tremendous. Clare's work ethic and attitude will continue to develop her skill set, furthering her ability to play at the next level.
08/02/2018 - Softball Factory Advanced Training (Grad Years 2018-2023) Clare is a 2021 SS with a balanced skill set. In the box, Clare is a RHH that uses a square stance with a soft stride and centered balance. She loads her hands back, creates fluid rhythm and swings the bat hard. She makes square contact and is a consistent line drive hitter. Working to engage her lower half will allow her to see an increase in her power production. At SS, Clare is an athletic player. She reads the ball well and shows good range. She presents her glove on time, makes a clean transfer and makes accurate throws with carry. She plays through the ball well and shows good field awareness on the double play. Overall, Clare is a coachable player with the tools needed to play at the next level.
