01/18/2019 - 2019 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Courtney is a 2024 right handed shortstop and outfielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, she is athletic in her fielding position and stays low through the ball. She moves well laterally and keeps the ball in the infield. She displays range to both sides and gets a good read on the ball in the gaps. She fields the ball out front and communicates well with her teammates. Offensively, she is athletic in her set up and controlled in her stride to the ball. She keeps her hands on plane to the ball and is explosive through the zone. She displays the ability to spray the ball to all sides of the field. Overall, Courtney is very coachable and brings great energy to the field.
10/21/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Oklahoma City, OK Courtney is a 2024 right handed shortstop and outfielder with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has quick feet and range to both sides. She moves well laterally both in the infield and the outfield. She stays athletic in her fielding position and has a quick exchange on her throws to her target. She is fluid in her action to the ball and stays low through each play in the infield. She has good momentum coming through the ball into her throw and sees the ball well off of the bat in the outfield. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and is aggressive each pitch. She loads back well in her legs and is explosive through the zone with her barrel. She displays power to her pull side and makes hard contact consistently. Overall, Courtney is very athletic and will make a great asset to a collegiate level team in her future.
